ABLE Hon Friends sign Tonny Trocha-Morelos, ex Titanes

ABLE Hon Friends (D1) signed 30-year old Colombian power forward Tonny Trocha-Morelos (208cm-104kg-1994, college: Texas A&M) for upcoming 2024-25 season. He played last season at Titanes in Colombian D2 league. In 20 Liga Wplay games just recently he had 8.9ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1bpg. He helped them to win the LPB Apertura title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
Trocha-Morelos was also a member of the Colombian international program for some years. He played for Colombian Senior National Team between 2010 and 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2012.
Trocha-Morelos also represented Colombia at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers last year. During this event he scored an average of 8.4 points per game and had 4.3 rebounds per game.
He is quite experienced player. Trocha-Morelos has played in six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Boca), Bulgaria (Chernomorets), Colombia (Cafeteros and Warriors), Sweden (Jamtland), Venezuela (Marinos) and Hong Kong (HK Eastern).
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Apertura Honorable Mention in 2023.
Trocha-Morelos graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
